In this installment to the series we will be following Connor whose father was English and his mother was Mohawk. The game will take place during and around the Revolutionary War.

One awesome new thing being added are DUAL WIELDED WEAPONS. You will also have available flintlock pistols, tomahawks, knives/swords, bow and arrow and the always present hidden blade. There will probably be much much more.

An interesting new economic system is being added where you hunt animals to collect pelts/antlers/claws/whatever to sell in towns. There is also a new property system being set up.

They are also making the season change so during winter everyone moves more slowly and can slip in the snow. Lakes and rivers will also freeze allowing some areas to only be accessible during winter and probably some areas being blocked by snow or flooding.

The thing that i am going to enjoy the most though is free running through the forest and climbing mountains. That just seems awesome. It might be interesting though because it seems there is going to be much more wilderness than city.

The design of the character and weapons seems to be pretty amazing.

First things I noticed where:
The Assassin's "A" shaped Tomahawk and the half indian - half american soldier uniform which looks pretty darn amazing.

In general the game looks very promising.

Yeah. I think i am going to like this character design better than Ezio. I really hope they make the hunting system work well. I really really hope they don't put in a tower defense thing again. I like tower defense games but in AC it just ruins the running of all the other gameplay.

Agreed with some things you guys said, I would love a more realistic Assassins creed. I wonder if animals as in hawks and other things will come into play, would be super sick If I could have a trained hawk eat my enemy's face!

Man that would be fun. Like having a dog/wolf or something that you can have attack people. A falcon dive bombing people would be awesome.



In my opinion Connor is looking to be the best character design so far.

Native Americans are badass.. nuff said about that. Much better then Ezio imho.

I also like the more rough look to his clothing. Better than the more fancy Ezio. Plus tomahawk ftw.

Just Pre-Ordered my copy of ACIII today. Got the Game Informer Mag featuring the game. Funny thing that they confirm is that there will not be a tower defense type minigame in the game...ever.


The game is not going to center around the Revolutionary War but you will take part is some battles and you meet some of the founding fathers including Ben Franklin and George Washington.

Just the Frontier map is 1.5 times bigger than the entire Brotherhood map. There will be many different missions that take place all across the Frontier.

A new addition is the club system. Lets say you go around hunting a bunch of deer with your bow, at a certain point a guy will approach you and say he heard of your hunting skills and ask you to join his hunting society. They leave off how many different clubs there are but the possibilities are amazing.

I want to scalp people, but there not going to let me... :whynou:

Well you can climb trees. Running through the forest is going to be a big part of the game. Setting traps i am not sure of though.
