Posting and Points

There are points beneath the post count, and I always wondered if they have a purpose?

I didn't notice anything yet.... and they don't seem to decrease either from inactivity..... If they don't have a purpose, I suggest we make one, for fun. Like if you manage to gather 500 points, by posting which seems to give you points, you get i.e bigger avy space or more PM space or a special title that lasts for certain time......

I have been wondering the same thing, and I think the idea of a special title would be cool to have.
